Resurrection Stations

The Stations of Easter have been used for centuries as a center point of meditation, prayer and focus by some religions.

Many denominations use the stations prior to Easter (the sufferings of crucifixion) and of more recent times the Post Easter (Resurrection).

Post Easter also known as "Via Lucis" or "Stations of the Resurrection," are a devotional practice that

focuses on the events following Jesus' resurrection, offering a counterpart to the Stations of the Cross.

The purpose of the Stations at CHC is so we can prayerful seek a time of Biblical based meditation. Allow the pictures to aid in the “minds eye” activity as you further mediate and imagine the wonders of Jesus.

The Stations of Jesus document His time before entering Jerusalem, through the cross to the eventual empty tomb and resurrection.

The stations may be done individually or in a group and is particularly important to the event of Easter.
