1. Those seeking their own way, want Jesus OUT OF THE WAY. This was the indictment against the Jews.

2. They wanted Him dead so they could carry on with their own agenda.

3. Crown of Thorns – a Fruitless, hostile, uninhabitable place.

The Word sown among the thorns was choked out (normally).
Not when it came to Jesus. This is the exact opposite of Jesus. He was HIGH FRUIT!

During this time, think about the PHYSICAL and EMOTIONAL PAIN that Jesus went through for YOUR SALVATION.
